RP: Swearing In

Tiberius Ogden walked into the atrium watching the crowd. Along the left side, press were milling around in anticipation of what the new Minister may do. The rest of the atrium was filled with Ministry workers, respected members of the Wizarding community. Crossing over the podium that stood next to fountain, Tiberius took a couple of moments to go over his speech.
"Good morning, witches and wizards. I want to request that we take a moment of silence in honour of our former Minister Kingsley Shaklebolt." He bowed his head and took a full minute before beginning his speech. While Ogden knew he would be giving another speech in a few weeks on his plans to continue the rebuilding of the wizarding community, he took about ten minutes to give an overview on some of the legislation he wanted to pass while in office. He ended his speech by reciting the swearing in oath.
"The Wizengamot has asked me to form an administration and I have accepted."
A loud round of applause echoed throughout the atrium as Tiberius stepped away from the podium to shake hands with several workers standing nearby. Members of the press shouted questions at Tiberius as he walked away.
