Oliver was mercifully done with practice, even though it was winter the coach was running them hard. He would have been achy if not for the analgesic potion that had been provided for them. After a shower and rub down, he had headed home to change before popping over to his parents place to check in on the girls. They seemed to be doing well and the squib nanny his mother had hired had been very helpful with school work and teaching Callie about living as a squib in the magical world.
Satisfied that all was good, he apparated to Diagon Alley, hoping that Tracey might be free for the evening. Oliver felt bad for not owling ahead but he hoped she wouldn’t mind the spur of the moment invite. Since the night, she had come over to watch a movie she had been on his mind a lot and he just wanted to see her and spend time with her.
Entering the bookstore, he looked around to see if he could see her. Figuring she was in the stacks somewhere, he asked the clerk to point him in the right direction.
