Long time, no update
So it's been while since I updated.
Last I wrote I was quite upset about how I was kicked out of my band. As it it turned out, it wasn't as bad as I thought, and I wasn't kicked out merely because they found somewhere better. It had more to do with the fact that the band plans on playing a lot of shows and touring this year and my schedule didn't realy allow me to do that. I missed one show with the band was going to have to miss a few others coming up which I wasn't going to make. Anyway, after I talked to the guys in the band I felt better.. The crappy thing was how they didn't explain it to me fully when I was first told..
At any rate... life goes on in that respect... I'm starting to miss being in a band, but I'm sure I'll end up in another musical venture sometime in my life.
I'm back at school and am really enjoying living off campus in a house, as opposed to living on campus.
This year should be interesting.. My school schedule is way lighter than any I've had before.. However, I have a job with the school newspaper, and a job with the info desk in the student building. So that should keep me fairly busy.
Baseball as a whole this summer was somewhat disapointing... As you may know if you read Brian's livejournal, our team wasn't all that good.. and we didn't end up with all that many wins. However, it was a great group of guys and I look forward to improving our team next year.
My coaching team was okay, but the season ended disapointingly when we went out of the playoffs early. Damn crappy kids.
It's crazy what is going on in New Orleans right now.. I can't even imagine something like that, and my heart and thoughts are with all those people suffering. It is a shame to see the way it is effecting some people .. Hopefully that gets sorted out soon..
