What's keeping me off the streets at night...

Been doing a lot of 3D art lately. Learning to create my own body textures, and how to modify the appearance of clothing and other items.

This picture shows a full-body texture for a wolf character that I'm working on. Her entire surface fur area is hand-painted in Photoshop. Eventually she will be Florence Ambrose, from the Freefall web comic. The swimsuit she's wearing started out as a wrist-to ankles unitard, and I modified the texture and transparency mapping to make it into a one-piece swimsuit. Here's another picture of the same swimsuit, on a more shapely Furrette2 figure.

I'll be releasing the fur texture and swimsuit MAT files soon for public use. I did a simpler full-body texture file earlier this week, just slightly modifying a texture done by Little Dragon, and I released it with his permission. As of this morning, it has already been downloaded 250 times from Renderosity.

I also really need to finish several traditional commissions that I have partly done or which have been ordered and not started yet. Been working on them, but it's much more slow going. Too many interesting things to do...
