recently got an induction stove, sleek, shiny black and small enough that it fits wonderfully with my tiny rice cooker and my tiny studio apartment. it doesn't take five minutes after pressing the on button to actually start heating, unlike my old electric stove, and oh lols i can't believe i'm so happy about something like this but you guys have ( Read more... )

oh~ from personal experience, i've found that using milk other than evaporated milk just really makes the soup not taste quite as good. it seems this way for a lot of soups which involve milk, actually? :o had some pumpkin soup today, used low fat milk, and it was... okay, lol.

i also occasionally add corn when i get lazy and use those corn-and-carrot packs, whoops. it surprisingly tastes alright, somehow! x)

lmao corn makes it crunchy and sweet, but it's an odd texture when combined with noodles ._.
pumpkin soup is my favorite soup! it's not very hard~ i also generally use squash instead of pumpkin when making it (so i guess it's not really pumpkin soup, oh whoops lol), since squash is more flavorful. :)
