My sisters are twenty-three today. Wow. Where has the time gone, I wonder? I hope you two had fun today. Brielle, I know you did, because you're off in another bloody country drinking wine for all I know (I remember the wine from Portugal from when I there. Very nice). Ren, I hope Mum behaved I'm sure Mum took you and Millie out for a very nice lunch (she was gone an awful long time from the office today).
I didn't have the luxury of taking a long lunch today, unfortunately. No, I spent most of my day digging my desk out from under piles of parchment that seemed to have multiplied since I left there last night. Actually, I don't even remember if I even ate lunch, I was that busy. Not busy like the people from the Floo office, though, as I heard they spent quite a bit of time today looking at all the grates in the Ministry, and giving them their annual inspection. I hope you had fun with that, Galen! A couple of people got stuck last year, if I remember correctly. That's always a pleasant experience.
No luck yet in the baby department, but we've got a couple of days yet to see if the latest effort was a success. It's hard to feel distressed that nothing has worked yet when we are having quite a bit of fun trying. I don't know how she does it, but Ali keeps bringing new stuff up to the plate and I have no idea where she's learned it all. Okay, well, maybe I do, but whatever. Like hell I'm complaining! The woman is absolutely amazing.
