I'm sure its been mentioned before, but...

What are other's thoughts on the furry fandom? And, in particular, how often its tied to sex. Is this just because most fandoms (as an outlet, perhaps) seem to be mostly centered around sexual relationships, preferences, etc? Or perhaps because it seems that those in thefurry fandom find a connection with animals? (sex = Animal instinct.)

I am not a furry and I (to my knowlage) don't know any, but the fandom has always confused me.
