Gender and Power Issues with Swallowing
Hi! I just recently joined this community because I enjoy intellectual discussion on pornography/sex/sexual fantasy and etc. I feel like it would be a good place to pose my mental ramblings to whoever is out there reading.
I've always been a big believer that people should only "dish out what they can take." Specifically, I am talking about where a man's ejaculation goes. In porn, I've typically seen men ejaculating on a girl's body or in her mouth, also known as "the money shot." I don't have a problem with this because, personally, I love receiving it. But I've hardly ever seen a man receive ejaculate with a favorable reaction, let alone gusto.
Are there heterosexual, masculine men that don't mind tasting their own ejaculate?
Most men I ask seem to be overcome by a "yuck" factor. Although logically, ejaculate is simply protein so there is no harm in swallowing or tasting it. I understand the inclination to feel grossed out, but honestly, women who do it have obviously been able to overcome those feelings.
And if tasting or swallowing ejaculate is so gross, then why is it OK to subject women to it? I would think that if the idea really bothered them they not let their partners experience it out of fairness. But if the case is that they allow women to do it, then are the women simply receptacles for ejaculate? I don't see how this dynamic favors sensual equality if it doesn't go both ways. What if the woman had ejaculate in her mouth and wanted to kiss him? What would his reaction be and what does that reaction ultimately say about this whole issue?
How does one resolve the desire to maintain one's principles without feeling like a "receptacle" for ejaculate? Or am I making a big deal out of nothing? What are your thoughts?
