I've never been a Star Wars fan, but when iceraptoress posted her reviews of the game, it looked like enough fun to give it a try. Our regular DoP crew is all joining in, which makes it likely that I'll enjoy it enough to keep playing. Last night I had the twilek "kid" who had an adult's body and adult size, but little-kid voice. It was strange.

I suspect it's the same thing with all games, though: they really don't want to show any kids in them because kids require different proportions and art. Fallout 3 managed it to a degree, but... yeah, Shrunken Kid up there looks strange.

I think Dane will be intrigued by Orae. ^_^ "Aren't these separatist shootouts phony?"

I vaguely remember Dane having a couple expressions once, but maybe I'm misremembering.

I can't seem to get a good pic of Dane for an icon yet. :/

The thing is, I've seen a couple of missions with children who, though they looked a little weird, they at least didn't look like shrunken adults. And in the case of this mission, the "kid" could perfectly well have been an adult. The parents who send you looking for him are elderly, and have believed their son dead for 5-10 years, so I was expecting him to be an adult. I can only assume (and I meant to say this in my post) that the drugs the separatists have been pumping into him for years have somehow led to this bizarre appearance. Clearly, they are evil ( ... )
