Twilight Survey
Instead of ya know writing about my new year's goals or commenting/messaging people, I decided to do this non-productive Twilight Survey. Hope ya'll had a good New Year's.
1. Which book in the series is your favorite?
It is so hard to chose between Twilight and Eclipse. Twilight reminded me of the pure ecstatic joy of reading a book that you completely interject yourself into and it is when I fell in love with Edward. Plus, it has some of Edward's best lines thus far in the series. Eclipse because of all the tension between the characters in the book. Stephenie is very clever at writing about the suppression of basic human emotions - jealousy, rejection, desire, etc. Plus, I love how Edward's dry sarcastic humor really comes out in this book. I like the character development of all the supporting characters.
2. How long did it take you to read the books?
I read the whole series in a week and half. Would have been shorter had I A) not read Twilight on a cruise and could not get to the store to buy the other books and C) I didn't have to work.
3. Who introduced you to the books?
I was in library school when the series first came out and heard murmurings about the book in my young adult lit classes. My friend Alyssa loves them. However, it was Stephenie thanking My Chemical Romance in the books that finally got me to read them. I
4. Did you buy them, borrow them, or have them given to you as a gift?

5. Are you most looking forward to: Breaking Dawn, Midnight Sun, or the movie?
Breaking Dawn . . . I'm dying to know if Bella will become a vampire or not. Actually, I'm really really wishing that Stephenie will decide to release the rough draft of Forever Dawn. I want to read perv over the Edward "adult" scenes.
6. What's your dream ending to the series?
Damn, I really don't know. Of course, Bella and Edward getting their forever after. This is so weird cause I'm not a romantic at all but my faith in love will be shattered completely if those two don't end the novel together LOL. I want Jacob to find happiness as well.

Tie between Edward and Alice/Jasper.
8. Who's your favorite vampire?
Edward cause he is motherfucking Edward Cullen.
9. Who is your favorite werewolf?
Sam I think he is definitely one of the more tragic figures in the novel. Imagine turning into a wolf and having not a clue what has happened to you.

The first time they visited the Meadow and he truly showed her who he is.

When he was teaching her how to ride the motorcycle.
13. How about your favorite Bella and Alice moment?
When Alice appears in Bella's living room in New Moon after the whole Cullen coven disappeared and when she guilt trips Bella into letting her plan the wedding.
14. What was your favorite adventure/battle?
All the scenes in Volterra. Bella running across the courtyard trying to stop Edward before he steps out into the sunlight, the intense moments with the Volturi esp. seeing Jane's power, and them having to wait out the slaughtering of the "tourists." I couldn't wait for them to get out of the creepy crypt.
15. Which book cover was your favorite?
Twilight cause it is the only one that makes any damn sense
16. Are these books among your favorite books of all?
Not my favorite of all time now but have a special place in my heart. Edward comes in third as my favorite book character of all time.

Sure. Although, I'm going to have to look at this as a completely different entity than the books because what I've read of the scripts there seems to several changes already.
46. What do you think of the casting so far?
Robert Pattinson isn't my first choice as Edward but no one really is as I see Edward as a mixture of several people. However, I really liked Rob as Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter). I enjoyed Kristen Stewart in Speak and thought she was good at getting the essence of the book character in that film. I'm just happy Rob has read the entire series.

Oh fuck now. I think their may be a war between the two until the Volturi show up forcing them to make an alliance again.

One of the Cullens and one of the wolves. Bella may also get her "death scene" ala Harry Potter style.
61. For a twist: what would you think if Edward was somehow turned human?
This keeps coming up but honestly how the hell will that happen. Some sort of anti-vampire serum Carlisle been secretly working on. Stephenie will have to pull so pretty impressive believable explanation out of her ass if that happens

She will always be his first love in his heart so no.
63. What do you most want to happen in Breaking Dawn?
LOTS AND LOTS of sex scenes with Edward for once damn it. I got to know how this vampire peen works.

Edward marries Bella, she stays human, and grows old w/ Edward by her side and then he dies not longer after she passes away.
