More In Shape?

So on Sunday, when I was at swim club, I was really impressed with how well I was doing. For not going for over a month, I was kicking some serious ass. And by that I mean I was totally doing 100 yards without reasting. For me that is a huge accomplishment! And, by the end of the hour and a half, my legs didn't hurt at all, just my arms. I think it has something to do with my riding lessons and learning how to post. Those three weeks in a row really kicked my ass but kept me in shape!

Now, granted, I can't do 50 yards straight of free style without feeling like I'm going to die, and in order to do 100 yards of swim without stopping I have to alternate between free and breast. As for kicking, I can totally do 100 yards without stopping or touching the bottom and they don't hurt all that much by the end. I am totally proud of myself and I think you should be too! I might actually be getting in shape for once in my life.

The other aspects of my life have been pretty uneventful (which is how I describe everything, I know). Mostly just rushing around torn between writing essays and playing XBox. But I've been pretty good at getting my work done so I can play.

I still don't know what I am going to take next semester. Senior seminar, obviously, but otherwise I'm screwed. There aren't any classes I want to take besides that and photography, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to get into it. I tried for this semester but was denied. On top of that, there's no way I'm going to be able to finish my internship this semester so I'll have to do that next semester as well.

I think I'm going to do some independent study with Dr. Reid and Vicky said something about an internship with her for CWA. I really only need 3 classes in order to get the credit to graduate, but I need 4 to be a full-time student. It kind of sucks, but there's a lot of options. I might just move back home in order to save money, and that way I only need to come to campus 2 days a week.

I don't know what I'm going to do yet. I'm so confused, and Vicky didn't really help. I am supposed to register on Monday. I'm meeting with Dr. Reid on Thursday to talk about independent study. Hopefully I can do it in creative writing, that would be awesome.

In any case, Chad is waiting for me for food, so later gators.

P.S. - COLLEEN IS COMING TODAY! Prepare for Puke Fest 2006!!!
