What Can You Do?
I have been so ill! I'm not one of those people who gets crippling colds (I'm more of a nausea kind of girl), but I've felt so shitty all week. I've had time off work and everything, which is quite unlike me.
The fact I had to blow my nose approximately every 10 minutes did knock some of the shine off my seeing Ricky Gervais's Fame Tour on Wednesday. But only some ;) I still managed to laugh all the way through. It was only about 40 minutes long, and at £25 per ticket I can understand feeling ripped off, but then my buddy had parking that was running out, so it worked out pretty well for us.
He re-told the iPodge story, which he's frankly beaten to death all over the place (various radio interviews, plus The Daily Show all spring to mind), plus Karl's opinion on Jesus' fame was hashed out again, but other than that he served up quality material, and I'll probably buy the DVD so I can go through it all over again.
The trailer for this weeks Skins is just beyond awesome. The kissing!!
I'm enjoying the show so very much, largely because it's become so much more than I was expecting. The first episode was pretty misleading, and I just hate to think that anyone watched it and assumed the whole series was going to be as pointlessly provocative, and little more. The subsequent episodes have been pretty damned any good in my opinion.
Hell, I should really pimp the show somewhere, since I really don't mind uploading...
