oh where oh where does one start?
let's see...i have a new job.
after a very rough time, i left my job at the big health food store in o'ville.
i am now working at a much more intimate health food store in alliston.
and i positively love it!
things went from bad to worse to down-right inappropriate at my previous job.
it was brutal.
but that is all behind me.
i am appreciated and respected at this new place and i love what i do and i feel so good going there and when i leave i have a smile on my face.
it is truly marvy.
i work for compassionate, caring, relaxed people.
i have taken a pay cut and loss in hours but my happiness and self-worth have sky rocketed.

i've been having a blast cooking 'n baking. i prepare a menu for the week on sundays and we've been eating scrumptious food. tonight's dinner is ratatouille in the slow-cooker. just found out the neighbours are coming for dinner as well and bringing some big salads. and i'm going to bake some banana carrot muffins for dessert.

we are excited for summer and all the fun adventures that await us. bbq's and camping and anniversaries and beach time!
we both have bikes this year and are enjoying doing that for the first time together.
plus we've already had a coupla boccie ball tourneys between the two of us.

i'm enjoying the simple life immensely. learning that it doesn't have to be go-go-go.
i love being at home, especially this time of year b'cuz where we live is pure paradise.
we are truly blessed.

been working out on a very regular basis. pretty much 5-6 times a week.
i've started running. okay, very light jogging. it feels amazing and each time out i'm able to keep it up a little bit longer than the previous. when i need to ease off of my joints i do my rebounder (mini trampoline). so fun. i've watched many a 'sex and the city' episodes while bouncing about and many movies too.

pop-culture prose from the pop-queen poptart:
*i am still in shock about the finale of grey's. i think george is for sure dead and that izzy isn't quite dead. needless to say i bawled 'n bawled.
*the trailer for new moon is WONDERFUL! although i do have some issues with jasper's wig. what up? he's not a '70's game show host! geebas! only 169 sleeps to go!!!
*i'm also enjoying the little video of stills that was put together of the scene in italy. oh edward! someone's been doing their ab-roller! yummers! although i could do without the old man grampa pants.
*i joined twitter. it's like legal stalking. how did i ever live without knowing the everyday details of mark from blink 182, rob from matchbox twenty, half-pint from little house on the prairie and punky brewster?!
*there are keith herring sigg bottles. i just may have to save my pennies. although, how many sigg bottles does one gal need? hmmm...maybe the gurl with 6 lunch boxes shouldn't answer that.
*not really enjoying the mortal instruments series. really thought i would. ah well.
*i think the ridiculous bruno stunt at the mtv movie awards with eminem completely took away from his amazing comeback performance.
*concerts i really wanna attend this summer but don't believe will be happening are: NKOTB, blink 182 and jason mraz. i shall just enjoy them in the comfort of my own home while dancing around naked!
