SO THAT WHOLE ROMAN MEETING AND THE SCENE WITH JASON SUPPORTING ANNABETH BROKE MY HEART.

That's okay, I didn't need that heart anyway. I need more of this.

♥ XD hahaha oh gosh. I felt so horrible for Annabeth while writing that whole exchange... glad to get the horror across adequately LOL.

More is on the way! I'm really quite excited about this :3 thank you for the review!

Oh thank you thank you thank you for giving us awesome post-TLH fic. I love it already. Jason/Annabeth makes my heart hurt but it makes so much sense, and I really can't wait to see what you do with it.

And I also adore that you made Annabeth the leader of the camp instead of Jason. THIS WAS TOTALLY WHAT I NEEDED TODAY, THANK YOU.

From the moment Jason told Annabeth that he wanted her on the boat, I had this angsty vision of them as a couple and LORDY we both know angst sort of owns my soul ahahhaha. You are too sweet :3

Annabeth as the leader is definitely something that I think will define the Greeks throughout the rest of the piece--it actually stems from this Horace quote (oh god, cue the Classics minor inside me to get a little geeky about this) "Captive Greece took captive her fierce conqueror, and introduced her arts into rude Latium." Greece is in the feminine in the original Latin, clearly submissive militarily, but Rome is the brute who is overcome by Greece from within by submitting to their culture, unawares. With a female at the helm of the Greek campers, it underlines this idea of Greek as the military inferior... but it's a stereotype which of course we both know Annabeth would never stand for ;)

Sorry for the classics!gasm haha xD

This is just... oh my goodness. Perfection. Every last bit of it just blew me away - if the sequel to The Lost Hero is half as good as this, I'd be delighted. Your research and the conviction with which you write are both commendable and really add to the amazing-ness of it all.. I can't wait for the next part! Well done!

♥ Oh dear, you are so sweet :3 Thank you so much-- doing research for this fic is more fun than work, so I'm glad it doesn't sound too nitty gritty with details.

Thanks dear! More is on the way :)

*squeals and dies*

Okay, when you said that you were working on more post-TLH fic, I knew it would be good. But THIS? HOLY SHIT! I was NOT expecting it to be this..........amazing, this awesome, this wonderful, and this heartbreaking. There were several times when my heart just broke for poor Annabeth, especially the moments with her and Jason where she can tell and is realizing that she likes him a bit, but she's so horribnly confused because she's in love with Percy ( ... )
