Another Monday
Today was a pretty quiet day for the most part. My friend, Professor spent the night after the Super Bowl party, since he didn't want to make the drive back to his place by the time the party was over. He's going through a divorce and so is a little lonely, I think. He enjoyed hanging out with everyone at the abate meeting and the party last night so that was good deal. It's been at least 6 months since we have hung out, so it was a little different to have him around but no big deal... just tossed him on the sofa and called it good. He left about 9:30 this morning.
I spent most of the day tidying up from the party. 3 loads of dishes later and things are back to looking good. Laundry was another highlight. Thank god for IM friends! I'd have been climbing the walls.
This evening, we took Becca and Timmy to see Hannah Montana. It was surprisingly entertaining. The kids certainly enjoyed it. It was kind of cool and I got to see the promo for the new Brandon Frasier movie... YUM.
This evening we watched several episodes of Big Bang Theory. Such a funny show. I highly recommend it. Although I find it scary that I am married to a toned down version of Sheldon. Ack...
I am about to head off to bed... Super Tuesday tomorrow for the US elections. Arkansas is a Super Tuesday state. I'll be heading out to cast my vote. I firmly believe you shouldn't complain if you don't participate... since I am definitely complaining I will get out there and participate.
