Mission Accomplished...

Lord I am tired... but it was a good day. Spent the daylight hours shopping with my mother and aunt for some Christmas presents for the kids. My mother is a serious shopper. But she did finish her shopping for her grandkids. and she gave me some help with ideas for my nieces and nephews.

Dave got home about 2pm. He was home 15 minutes and was on the computers and then took a nap. yeah... Anyway, I got him to bring the kids and the neighbor kids down to the clubhouse, so that I could leave early to set up. Got the finishing touches on the float and met up with Lourie and George, Vera, David Earl and Mary Ellen with her kids, Angie and Cy, Travis, Tee, and my sister and niece. Not a bad group.

We got everyone loaded into the truck and trailer and went to the line up. The parade was about a mile long and went fairly quickly. we were near the end of the line, which is fine. We had a blast... while the kids threw candy, we blasted Wild Side, by Mötley Crüe. No Christmas Music from the bad ass bikers.

It was quick work to strip the trailer at the end of the ride and then we all headed home. I whipped up some quick fudge for the potluck tomorrow night when I got home. Tomorrow is another toy ride, High School Musical the play with becca, and the holiday Christmas Party. Should be fun!

To bed with me! Tired I am! Sleep I must!
