The kids and I are surviving our week without Dave pretty well. So far we have gotten up on time for school and not missed the bus. Had a cheer clinic to attend, school pictures, grocery shopping, a birthday party, Tumbling class, and lots of homework. Everyone has managed to get their baths every night and get to bed on time. The girls have been great about helping with their brother, doing the dishes and generally not being a pain in the ass. Timmy has been a sweetheart as well, although morning are definitely not his thing.
I've been going back to bed after the kids leave for school and grabbing an extra hour or two of sleep. This is very not me, but it seems to be helping with the mono/ parvo. I'm not quite as tired as I have been. That's very good news. Now if I could reduce the joint pain/ ibuprofen popping, that would be awesome.
Tonight will be our toughest night. Devin has to play with the band at the Jr. High Football game tonight. She has to be there at 6:15. Back before school started I booked their eye checkups for tonight at 5:30 and 6 pm. ACK. If Dave were home, it wouldn't be an issue. With him gone, I've had to call in my mom. Luckily, she is able to help out. This will be a long night.
