I love you all, I really do, but this has got to stop.
I've listened, I really have, and I'm not seeing it. I'm not a goddess, I don't have any special powers, at least ones that aren't special to me. The growing things is just what I do; it's part of my world

That doesn't mean I don't want to hear about it, however. Guns don't exist in my world, but I suppose that's the downside to being from an older universe.

Well, I'm happy to answer any more questions you might have. There's just... like I said, there's a lot to know about guns. I wouldn't even know where to start.

And I do have a question. I've been following your conversation with Gregory and if the weapon he recommended to me isn't semi-automatic, would it still take magazines or something else?

Semi-automatics versus revolvers... semi-automatics use magazines which load into the handle of the gun... the bullets go into the magazine in a stack, and a spring at the bottom pushes the bullets up to the barrel and hammer as you fire. Like a Pez dispenser. ...Never mind, you won't know what Pez is either. A revolver has a cylinder above the trigger that pops sideways out of the gun... you load the bullets into that, in a circle. As you fire, the cylinder revolves to bring the bullets between hammer and barrel. Thus the name "revolver".
A revolver generally holds 5 or 6 rounds... bullets, that is... although some larger models hold up to 10. I believe the Ladysmith holds 5 rounds. Semi-automatics usually hold more... my Glock 30 holds 10, a larger gun would hold more than that.
The Ladysmith's a good gun, it's a good recommendation. It's small and easy to handle. If you're looking for a compact semi-automatic, I'd recommend the same gun I have, the Glock 30.
