I went to the California Academy of Sciences on February 5th, last Sunday. It was an amazing trip even though it was so crowded! I enjoyed everything at the Science museum, nonetheless. I'd love to go back :) Here are various pictures I took during the trip using my camera phone. Butterflies flew freely inside. They can get really close to you too! Scary looking eel that just sat still in the tank…so creepy…Couldn't help but take a picture of it's eerie face…haha Went under the tunnel through the aquarium. Very small unlike the Monterey Aquarium, it is bigger and longer. Great White Shark Fangs! Interesting sea star's skeleton! I was fascinated by the details
Jellyfish! Beautiful!
The Infamous Albino Aligator. He looks lonely though :( Giraffe! It was so huge! I was in awe thinking if it was the real thing…I'd be *__*""
They have a Penguin exhibit. These penguins lived in Africa. Surprising that there were Penguins down there! We went to the gift shop and I bought a few souvenirs for myself and my siblings. I am starting to keep a collection of Postcards from places I go to in my treasure box :). I should put the postcards in a little photo album. Anyway, then my friends and I went to eat at Mikado, a sushi restaurant since we were so famished. Then headed towards Fisherman's Wharf and the Pier walking around. It was a great, fun-filled day :).
I hope to have a trip soon to go to The Legion of Honor Art Museum with a dear friend of mine, Salvador so we can indulge in visual delights of art! Haha.
