I can't stand it any longer!!! I have to vent! Does anyone else (besides me!) think that the pink Melodifestivalen arches in town look like globs of pink poop piled together??? Its the ugliest thing ever!!! Whoever came up with the idea and whoever approved its use should be fired! My goodness, I hope it doesn't get any air-time when the show is

Yeah, those arches are pretty tacky, but I was actually a bit grateful when they went up - because without them the pink tree has NOTHING to support its hidiousness! SO TACKY, AIEEEEEEE! I don't see why Skellefteå latched onto pink (cheap paint?) when Melodiefestivalen has a myriad of colors. I also don't see why they had to kill a tree with pink paint, which looks all sad and limp now, prop it up in the square, dump snow at its base (in the process cracking off the bottom branches), and then tie one-sided impossible-to-see-clearly photographs of people into its branches like a kindergarten class project! So when the arches went up, and were a matching pink to the tree, I felt a little bit less embarrassed - 'cause at least now the color has a theme... hehe

I hope your father recovers well and will be holding your baby in a year's time with a smile on his face. Good luck to the both of you in health matters. :(
