As I had said, my stepdad had called me the other evening around 12:19 a.m. to let me know he was on his way home. Of course, two hours later I realized something was wrong. So then I called my mom (who was out of town for a class reunion) to let her know what was going on. Both of us realized what was going on, so she ended up driving back home.

Well, good for your mom for telling him he has to move elsewhere! His company doesn't seem very healthy for either of you. 8( I hope things work out smoothly and, at the very least, you have a nice break from him for a few days.
