Gah......
As I had said, my stepdad had called me the other evening around 12:19 a.m. to let me know he was on his way home. Of course, two hours later I realized something was wrong. So then I called my mom (who was out of town for a class reunion) to let her know what was going on. Both of us realized what was going on, so she ended up driving back home.
Ever since my mom and stepdad have been married (about nine years), he has pulled these "vanishing acts" where he ends up taking my mom's car to either go out and do drugs, cheat on my mom, or both. He has even went to the extent of stealing our stuff to pawn-off for crack money. He has been to rehab and shit, and up until the other day he hadn't pulled this stuff for like, two years.
Anyways, he came back yesterday morning around 2:00 a.m. and basically my mom told him he could sleep it off, but then he has to go live elsewhere. So then, my mom and I went to drop off our elderly neighbor's car at the shop around 9:00 a.m. We had left the house unlocked, so of course we come back to the house to find that he has TRIED to lock us out. Luckily I had the keys, so when we got back in my mom said to him, "Why did you get up to lock the door?" and of course, his answer is a simple, "I don't know."
Then, thankfully, he says he is going to work today, so my mom took him to the bus stop about half an hour ago. Hopefully this is the last I see of him for a few days since I am really tired of this shit.
But in happier news, I have a new LJ layout up! I was too lazy to make my own so I just used one of the premade ones. Also, I start school tomorrow so I am pretty excited for that!
