i am so incredibly excited for this new painting. i took a bunch of digital pictures of my model (katie as usual) and printed them out, then sketched from those rather than directly from life...because this pose would be just way too hard to stay in for as long as it would take for me to draw it. now the sketch is in place and i'm so happy with how
