Life is pretty much back to normal here by now. The only sign I saw all day today that it was a special date was the National Guardsman stationed at the corner of 51st and 5th, rifle at the ready in case terrorists tried to attack St. Patrick's Cathedral. Or the "Facconable" storefront at the edge of Rockefeller Center.

So it goes.
