Yeah I know I skipped 3x02 "Sara", but I was so pissed off with it I couldn't bring myself to post without frothing rage spilling from every syllable.
Still, as we move past the immediate rage of Sara's death (and the fact that they literally put her in a refrigerator) and into the "Oh fuck, is this what the show is going to be like from now on?" phase, I'd like to list some things that I actually liked about episode 3.
- Colton Haynes - yes, I thought he did a really nice job here both in his scenes with Oliver and those with Thea. Roy comes across as one of the most well-adjusted people on the show, not that he has a huge amount of competition.
- Felicity. Fuck, I love this girl so hard. Loved her "Are we favour-friends?" comment to Laurel. Total typical Felicity thinking out loud, heh.
- Oliver/Diggle/Roy on Corto Maltese. They worked really well, and it was almost back to Team Arrow.
- Brandon Routh is hot, and I'm shallow.
- Lyla/Diggle/Digglette (I'll avoid referring to the baby by name because gosh, confusing). Just too cute, especially Diggle's line about the Glock.
- Malcolm and Thea. So fucked up, so incredibly good. Love Barrowman in this role, he's obviously having so much fun. Willa Holland was awesome and I love that they gave her a sensible haircut, she really resembles her fictional mother.
- Loved the Oliver/Thea conversation (although I hated that Oliver didn't come completely clean).
- Nyssa! Yes!!! Please make the first thing you do next episode tranquing Laurel.
- Quentin's smirk when the cop told him someone had dropped an anonymous tip on the abusive guy. Quentin knows how to get shit done, within the law. Plus Paul Blackthorne, also very hot.
Things I hated:
- Felicity being separated from the rest of Team Arrow. Not cool.
- FUCK OFF, LAUREL. JUST FUCK OFF. YOU ARE WHINY AND STUPID AND SELFISH AND YOU ARE RUINING THE SHOW.
