More Adam Lilly Stories.
ok, i remembered some more stories about Monsiuer Adam Lilly, partly due to just finishing watching FUBAR.
ADAMS GIRLFRIENDS DAD STORIES:
Apparantly Adams girlfriends dad drives a bus, like a school bus. Adam was telling me how said dad likes to drive the bus afterhours, for two reasons. A) so he can save money on gas because the company pays for it and B) because he can drink and drive and a cop wont pull over a schoolbus.
So apparantly one night, when dad wants to go for a round of drinks and watch the game with some friends, he does the usual and takes the bus. This also happens to be the weekend that Shania Twain is in town for the Junos. Well, hes driving along the highway, and what does he see but SHANIAS bus pulled over to the side of the road having mechanical problems. Even though he was a little drunk, he decides that this is his golden oppurtunity to meet Shania Twain, so he pulls over and phones CAA for the nice people on the bus. In return he got his picture taken with Shania and an autographed picture which now hangs on his wall along with some other autographed pictures.
Adam continues to tell me that besides smoking bongs with his seven year old, he enjoys collecting autographed pictures of his favorite bands, and artists. Among those hanging on his beloved wall are BB MAK, Backstreet Boys, Nsync and Rod Stewart.
Since Adam talks non stop he also fill me in that he is an avid KISS fan. His favorite one is Ace Frehley and he dresses like him regularly for Halloween, and parties etc. He also tells me his room is like a Museum of KISS stuff, and he has $5000 worth of KISS stuff. when he told me that i called him on it, and he was like "oh, well its not like i paid that much, my neighbour gave some stuff to me for free." He says he has the Alive LP in mint condition and that its worth $2000 alone. A simple EBAY search shows you that its worth $30 tops if its the original press. He also says he has the mint condition KISS comic book worth $2000 and some guy offered him $4000 for both the comic book and LP and he didnt take it because hes such a fan. (the comic book i couldnt find on ebay, but the closest was #2 for a mere $26 so whatevs.) He also tells me that once he went to Montreal to see Kiss live, and after him and his friend couldnt get thier car started, so they sat in the parking lot, then the KISS bus pulled up and was like, " Hey sorry your car broke down, come chill with us for an hour" and so he says he hung out with KISS for an hour, got pictures taken, and autographs.( i asked him if i could see them but he said that they are locked in a safety deposit box with the LP and comic book, with some other stuff so he couldnt)
SENS FLAG STEALER:
After driving around in the van, or anywhere in Ottawa, you all know that those Sens flags are more popular than ever. Adam told us that he drives the highway in between kanata and carp rd. exit looking for sens flags in the ditches, and has since found 7 or 8 so far, which he sold to people for ten bucks each.
On friday, someone asked him what his plans for the weekend were, and he then told us that he was going to go to the corel centre, park his car, then go and steal all the sens flags he could handle then go to the front of the Corel Centre and re sell the flags to people because they are sold out everywhere.
EMERGENCY PAGER:
Adam has a pager, which he insists is for emergencys only. He gets a page in front of me and dave(boss) and he asks dave to borrow the cell phone to call, and says that no one pages him unless its a real friggin crazy emergency. he then calls someone, id assume his girlfriend, he asks whats wrong, then says im off at four, then says goodbye, then hangs up and tries to tell dave that his mom has a disease as of last week that doctors dont know what it is, and that she went into the hospital and that was his brother on the phone, asking when they could go to the hospital. All that said, just like three hours earlier he was telling me how he talked to his brother the day before and he had just moved into an apartment with his girlfriend and would be home when exams are done.
" shes got cancer or something, shes all messed up, i hope she doesnt die, id have to start makin my own effin lunch.....naw, id just get the broad to do it"
