Just heard a commercial for one of the local charities, saying that, if you donate your car to them, you can write it off on taxes for the kelly blue book value because you donated it. Can you do this to for anyone or can you only write it off for a certain type of charity ( Read more... )

A reminder to all to consider local (women's and other) shelters for donating old clothes, shampoo and other bathroom products and samples, toys, bedding, and most anything you are wanting to get rid of.
