First time poster, long time lurker... now with a tiny emergency...
So, my boyfriend is without health insurance (as is a good portion of america) and just recently his tooth fell out (we think it might be a delayed effect from cracking his tooth on something because he takes amazing care of his teeth... so it wouldn't be because of rotten...ness).
We've been looking into options as to how to afford the root canal and cap(crown?) that he'll need. So far, we've found the
GE Wellness Plan which is like a savings card you pay an annual fee for and get X amount off of different services.
We've also been recommended to use
CareCredit which is a (basically) interest free credit card for health services. According to a quote from a local dentist, he wouldn't be spending enough to qualify for any interest on what he does spend.
The reason I'm posting in this community is because I was wondering if anyone has used either of these or something like it. I'm getting worried about the fact that he has a hole in his mouth because I don't want anything bad to happen. Thank you!
