You look great! Did you go with the spiral perm? That was really nice of her to give you free stuff.

WOW! that is a difference.. you didn't look bad before, but the second photo is GLAM!

I love your hair color btw..

you look great and more importantly, it sounds like you LIKE the way you look. And that sort of confidence is always good!

My stylist works at a salon in a Walmart and what she told me was that it doesn't matter how often or seldom you shampoo--wash your hair when you like, whether that's once a day or once a month. Just don't use cheap shampoos, they'll ruin your hair.

I sat down with a calculator and worked out that using a more-expensive shampoo once a week was cheaper than using Suave everyday (Suave chosen as an example because Walmart usually has it for .87 per bottle).

Now I wash my hair twice a week, usually with a less-costly-but-still-quality salon brand. I let it airdry without combing, brushing or heating it and it's glossy and healthy all the way to the ends.

Yeah seconded.
I pay 30 dollars a bottle for my shampoo but it lasts me about a year an a half each time because I only need to use it 3 times a week and don't need conditioner all the time. So while there was a big payout at the beginning it ends up saving money in the long run.

I agree with an earlier comment that said you didn't look bad before, but I must say, your after photo is BEAUTIFUL. You sound very pleased with the experience, and I'm so happy for you. :)
