Sick to death of pictures of snow and/or Ruby and/or Ruby in snow?
We got up at 6.30am to find it snowing heavily. By 11.30am when I took a ruler out to measure it, we had 5 inches of snow, and it was still falling heavily. It was still snowing when we took Ruby for her walk up to the nearby park and woods. I thought you might like to see a few pics I took along the way:
Ruby was enjoying the snow as usual, when she spotted something and went into one of her Pointer impressions...
"Who are they? And what are they doing?"
I want to join in!
Wait for meeeee!
She came back eventually - she really needs to learn to keep her tongue in!
Then she made a new friend...
...and they transformed into DEVIL DOGS FROM HELLLLLLL!
Luckily the transformation didn't last long, and we got our little 'Angel' back again!
It finally stopped snowing at about 3pm, and pretty much started freezing over straight away, which means there will hopefully be more of the same on her walk tomorrow! I love the snow, everybody we saw up on the park was smiling and happy and playing or walking with their dogs. And it all looked *so* pretty! Sure it'll be a PITA when it turns to ice, but for now it's just lovely and much more preferential to the usual gloom, rain and gale force winds we get at this time of year.
ps. If you want to see more pics of snow & Ruby (or bigger versions of these ones) then they're all on my Flickr site
