craziness behind closed doors
Tonight was a little thing we like to call behind closed doors for residence life. Returners get to act out situations, and newbies get to approach them as if they're real situations to get practice. Well I was in the room where we had some drinking and one of us is to slip out the door and see if the person will call them back. So I walk out of the room, and Matt Leahy is the one handling this situation. Well he doesn't just call me back... he RUNS ME DOWN! He chased me down the hall and grabbed my arm and dragged me back to the room! I was laughing.... really hard. Most people just ignore you, not Matt, no way, he had to chase me down. I think that was awesome. Then we go through giving up the "beer" and everything and he handles the rest of the situation. Some people ignored me or Sara when we ran out, some yelled to us, but most everyone was good at handling us. It was so fun to do that, I love improv acting like that. Loreado told Jen and I that we were amazing actors, that kid's pretty cool. Jen told the people that she was 30 and married to the RD Jason Morris. I thought Jason was gonna die laughing when he heard that. So all in all it was a great time.
Tomorrow night is counciling issues and I guess Sara, Joe (or as I call him, Tom), and I are sharing that one, Sara will be the one to tell the CE she thinks there's something wrong, and I will be pregnant, or Joe will have a pregnant girlfriend. It should be interesting, because these sometimes get really emotional. I remember doing one that dealt with sexual assault and people were actually crying. It's deep.
Rachel, Brie and I had "girls night" in my room for a bit. Rachel's having some issues with her boyfriend that lives in Mexico because of communication problems so we were all just having girl time. I feel bad, but at the same time I can kind of relate to a long distance relationship, and so can Brie because her boy is in the Marines. It was nice to chat because I missed Rachel, and I love Brie to death, so the bonding was good.
Tomorrow is Friday, woohoo.... not really because it's a full day of training and we have a little on Saturday, and then I have KKY, which isn't bad because it doesn't go all day, yay for relaxing! Then I think Greg and I are gonna hang out that evening.
Congrats to my bro for his 2 assists and 1 goal tonight! Way to play Jon!! I'm super proud :-D
