(no subject)
Iknow I've been bad about the updates.. so here we go:
Chemo is over! yay! Unfortunately it was hard to celebrate at that last treatment because Silpa was doing so badly at the time. We're 1 week in to a 2 week vacation from treatment and she's still not doing as well as we might hope - but it is getting better..
This Thursday Silpa will go in for a PET scan so they can see how effective things were - then they'll determine how much radiation she'll need. The doctor is estimating 4 weeks of daily treatment.
In other news - the creative bug has bitten me hard recently.. I think it's all of the time at home. Of course I'm knitting as usual but I've also been designing a lot in illustrator. I have an order of supplies coming today so that I can make pendants from some of these designs.. I played with shrink plastic last week but wasn't crazy about the results - some printable shrink plastic, resin, and dyes are scheduled to be delivered today and I'm kindof been climbing the walls waiting for them..
hrmm, I guess I'll go kill time making lunch and if things aren't here yet I'll have to break out the water colors...
