I really do enjoy my walk to work each morning (in spite of the fact that it inevitably means I will wind up at work).  There are several different routes I can take, but my favorite goes through a golf course (over the river and through the woods, as it were) and I often run into all sorts of creatures going about their daily business of survival ( Read more... )

I've had another good weekend. Having off for Friday, Saturday, and tomorrow (Sunday, of course) has really done my soul well. I was surprised to get an invitation to come up to Evanston to stay at James' place on Thursday evening. I figured he'd want to wait until Friday for us to get together.
