Our wedding was absolutely perfect. Believe me, no one could be more surprised than I am that I can actually SAY the word "perfect" in regard to anything related to me, personally, but it's true: our wedding went more smoothly and more perfectly than I could've ever hoped

Yeah, I deactivated Facebook. I made an LJ post about it, too -- HA! Anyway, to make a long story short, Facebook was getting a little too drama-filled for me, so I got out while the getting was good. You know it's crazy when LJ seems saner than something, right?
What's bringing you to Chicago in July? Unfortunately James will be out of town for that whole string of dates you listed. He'll be in Pittsburg for his company's annual conference, so you won't get to meet him. But I could definitely make plans to see you since I'll likely have nothing else going on.
There are tons of little street festivals and things that go on in the muggiest days of Chicago's summer. For instance, you'll be right there in the middle of the annual & over-priced Taste of Chicago festival in Grant Park. For us quieter and snootier folk, it so happens that the Emerson String Quartet is performing Mozart at the Ravinia Festival on July 2nd. Lawn seats are only $10.
