Normally my morning is as follows:
6:00 AM wake bleary
6:10 AM drag myself out of bed
6:25 AM complete barthroom things
6:26 AM crawl back into bed to cuddle Jeff
6:35 AM crawl out of bed, find clothes that fit, pack stuff for work
6:45 AM leave house after waking Jeff
7:05 AM seat myself on CalTrain
7:15 AM fall asleep while trying to read for school
7:45 AM arrive in Palo Alto
This morning I woke up happy--almost bright eyed and bushy tailed happy. I got our of bed and never crawled back into it. Instead, I put the wet laundry into the dryer and put a new load in. Instead of the usual kisses on his face (which was covered in blankets this morning), I woke Jeff by uncovering his butt and pinching it--hee-hee. And he woke laughing. I had an easy time finding clothes that fit and instead of napping on the train, I read my school text book. I felt great and am looking forward to coming home tonight--to do homework and clean the house.
I suspect part of my good mood comes from Jeff. I got home last night at 10:20 PM exhausted to find he had cooked dinner, washed laundry, and cleaned the barthroom--and was standing in the kitchen freshly washed and naked to boot! Our bathroom was FILTHY because we had been lazy to clean it. I think it had been at least 3-4 weeks. And, I'd run out of bras. I did all the laundry last weekend, but neglected to do a delicates load and had plum run out. But there they were--all clean and on the drying rack!
I'm happy because I also get a few hours to myself this evening. Jeff is volunteering at school on some practicum-style project (he does that at least once or twice a week). Ah.
