Do I have the right...

...to be absolutely dead tired even though it's just Monday morning and I have not done anything yet except swallowing my thyroid medicine and going through some news on my favourite VP candidate Sarah Palin, bless her brain (if you can find it). Honestly, that woman is a right little ray of sunshine and source of perpetual glee to my otherwise bleak world full of work, studies and marital sex.

Anyway, what I want to say is that I really feel exhausted and behind with my work and research. It seems that once again I have bitten off more than I can chew, but I'm not going to give up just now. I'll give it more and hope that I'll still be alive and relatively well when October ends and the crazy pace will slow down a bit. I have not yet translated a single page from the novel, but hopefully I will start next week. The official deadline is until the end of January, but I am actually expected to hand it in at least one month earlier. Well, I will do my best and if it still won't work out, I promise you will hear from me, as I never hesitate to share my misfortune (in generous portions).

As for sharing my fortune - well, actually, I have something to say as well.
The weather is fine, for instance. The sky is gray at the moment, but yesterday we had its wonderful blue cousin for a visit. Dana and I had a nice walk to Troya - a part of Prague's 8th district where we live - where the dorms of Mathematic & Physic College are. It's really an important place for me, nostalgic even - but only in a good way.
Here, I took some pictures:

Well, I took this shot from the window of my former bedroom in my parents' apartment. Dana and I live in this big house one the left. This whole are is full of trees and parks, as you can see, so I really enjoy the colourful autumnish view.

Some nica flora in Troya and a view of the city down the hill. You can see some famous churches (well, at least a bit) from there.

And here are the dorms and an elegant old villa standing nearby.
The dorms are actually connected on the underground level. Full of secret routes. Aw, memories. ;)

work, autumn
