(no subject)
soooo i'm back early yayayayayayay! yeh no i couldnt stay in india any longer i was getting frustrated with everything aand everyone, but i felt really really sad when my aunt started crying but yeah.i came back saturday night at midnight. i fell asleep sometime around 2 sunday afternoon and woke up at 4 am today and couldnt go back to sleep it is now 5:56 am. i am JETLAGGING like crazy. it seems my whole family has somesort of virus (another reasoni came back early WE ALL KEPT GETTING SICK)
update of trip
Week 1
went to abu dhabi, dubai, sharjah, al ain
abu dhabi was extremely hot and humid and had freakish amounts of indians
dubai- was really nice, sooo much construction, i saw all the new hotels and stuff, the weather was hot but didnt bother me as much
sharjah- just like the other two places
al ain- desert area I SAW CAMELSSSSSS! it was really hot but it was dry heat so i didnt mind it, we went with my cousin who is a n agricultural engineer there and her husband whos works there too as a civil engineer. theyre making the desert, mountain area into a hotel and resort area and he works to build roads and living facilkities while she does irrigation stuff there since there is no natural source of water in a desert.
Week 2
not very interesting went to india
went shopping
went to relatives' houses (moms side)
my daddy came
grandpas 80th birthday
grandparents 50th wedding anniversary
Week 3
more shopping
saw our first house
saw land we bought 17 years ago
went to the seminary where my dad studied
went to my old school
went to relatives' houses dads side)
Week 4
went to places outside of kerala! yay karnataka: bangalore, mysore. tamil nadu: chennai, vellore
bangalore was interesting, kinda smelly, shopping was fun, and sight seeing was fun too
mysore: we went on a tour bus with a very very interesting group of rody people, it was scary and entertaining at the same time
chennai: SHOPPING! and family
vellore: family
the funnest part about visiting these places was that we got to go inside all the hindu temples!
then we were all sick. and still are
im just happy to be home
