That Decade Meme
2011 - In Victoria living on the corner of G and K streets. Married to a tall, kind and intelligent man who cares about being a good partner. We have a wonderful family of choice and partners in Columbus that we hope to see again very soon. Life is in progress...
2001 - In Victoria, same corner, working for the Can Fed Govt at a dysfunctional facility. Enrolled at UVIC in post grad program CBIS Just hosted my first House Concert, met my current husband at the first Pondfilk I hosted in June 2001.
1991 - In Abbotsford BC working as a manager at a facility in Mission BC and traveling around Canada with a new procurement/financial program that we were developing. At Fraser Valley University College taking marketing, accounting and criminology. Dating my ex husband and working fairly hard on music and self actualization.
1981 - In Abbotsford, just finished another leg of education in Accounting (accounting student of the year) Just started working for Can Fed Govt and doing acting assignment as Accountant at Matsqui after the riot. Married to a man that had many good qualities and no sense of direction.
1971 - In Victoria, living on that same corner I am now, with my mother and father in the Oceanside part of the house. In Jr High School, volunteering at the Boys and Girls club as a gymnastics instructor. Playing competitive tennis and hoping to be a forensic scientist, opera singer when I grew up.
1961 - In Manchester England, with my mother and father doing young child things that in my case meant frequent holidays in Wales and Austria and weekends away in our little cottage in Aulderley Edge. I still have the tiny leather ski boots that I wore when I learned to ski in Austria, on the mountains near the village my mother was raised in.
