I first got to know Lorraine a looooong time ago in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom, and had the pleasure of meeting her in person during Writercon 2006. When I recently returned to fandom after a long hiatus, she gave me a warm welcome back and promptly enabled me into my latest fandom (Guardian). Hee!
