magic
it's a blueberry waffle kind of morning. i slept in until about 11:10 and already had two!
i love the picture i took above mostly because it's hard to find a bit of hidden magic in nyc that you can take a picture of. mostly it's obvious magic here, or magic that you feel.
and so in honor of magic today, here are some links:
- my lj friend lillianleitzel just had her newest book come out. not only does the boston globe love it, but i can't wait to read it! pick up godmother - the secret cinderella story.
- wouldn't it be magical to be able to go away for a week in the woods for an art workshop? i think so. squam art workshops is located on squam lake in new hampshire. i'm putting this on my list.
- have i linked to sock dreams before? i can't remember. i especially love some of the over the knee socks like these swirly ones or these stripey ones
- oh how i would love to have this wallpaper from trove. in the right space, it's just full of magic.
- and if you need a little magic in your life, but just can't figure out where to look, why not crete your own? the spore project has gotten people cross the globe making mushroom art out of brown paper bags. check out the pics in the gallery.
