Happy 2011!!
Hey! Quick recap of the holidays: Thanksgiving was delicious! We went to a buffet and I'm glad I had that day off, because the day before was hella busy. Very tiring. Christmas was pretty lowkey. We opened presents, family came over, and then we lounged around the house. New Years was nice. I stayed up to catch the ball drop and then I watched Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper. Still super busy at work. All day was an endless parade of people. I also went to go see The Fighter(see below). I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! :D
Over the past few weeks I was able to see a lot of the movies I've been wanting to watch. First, I saw Black Swan with my sis and mom. It was amazing! I loved the ballet dancing, Mila Kunis was superb, Natalie Portman was perfect, and it was a pretty hot movie. The sex scenes kind of caught me off guard even though I was expecting them. The whole buildup to the ending was well done, I thought.
Next was The Fighter! Which is awesome as well! Oh my goodness Christian Bale was fantastic! How is he so perfect in everything he does?? I can't handle him sometimes. How could I forget the unforgettable Amy Adams!!?? She's grown on me this year with her performances in Sunshine Cleaning, Leap Year, and The Fighter. Fierce.
I also went to go see Tangled. It was really cute and Rapunzel and her chameleon are very lovable. The songs were sorta catchy too. :) Love and Other Drugs was pretty much chock full of fan service. For the ladies: Jake Gyllenhaal always undressed and charming. For the men: Anne Hathaway being equally as undressed and charming. I was in heaven! lol I'm a sucker for Jake and Anne. And then today, I saw The King's Speech which is a really, really good movie. Colin Firth was amazing. His stammer was really convincing. I left the theater pumped and feeling good. 8D
