Heyo! :o)

If you're reading this, say Hi! If you don't have a LiveJournal account you can leave a message for me regardless - you'll come up as an anonymous user...

I feel magnifique! I was thinking of adding a new segment to my choose-your-own-adventure called "Using Common Sense", perhaps focussing on the way this term is used in Australia... I find it really amusing when ppl insist that "common sense" is put into practice... ah, poor non-delusional folks... so unaccustomed to dealing with the "fantastic" (i.e. not 'realistic'), day by day... Much work is to be done! ;o)

I'm reading about Morocco and I'm very curious about the area.
You may or may not already know that I was born in Tripoli, Libya- I'd love the opportunity to visit my birthplace, just for a day or two- I wonder if being born in this region has affected me in any way regarding tolerance to any Libyan diseases... though, knowing my parents, they were probably terrified to let me out of the room I was in.

I woke up at about 2pm today and had chocolate cake for breakfast... I was last seen munching on Thai for Dinner/Lunch- I know I'm going to be surrounded by Asian food in about a week or so, but I can't wait! ;o)

I'm thinking of heading to Shanghai via Guangzhou after a stint in Hong Kong... my lust for the city has been very far from satiated... I can just imagine myself becoming (even more like) a homeless hippy artist, just sitting on the promenade and gazing out towards the Bund, day by day... producing one sketch of the city after another, and occassionally being perched upon by a lone pigeon...

I don't know about you, but I could certainly gaze at this forever...

From here? I'm not sure whether to continue onto Beijing, Dalian and perhaps Harbin, or wait until later, as I may have to go to Beijing to catch the Trans-Siberian after my time in India...

Perhaps I really should wait, as if I postpone the Vietnam to India journey I will be in Tibet and Nepal in winter - and I don't think that would be very fun! I'd like to spend a bit more time in Nepal, but the area isn't very safe right now... not that Tibet is at its safest it's ever been right now either, but I'm determined to spend a week or so there - if only to acclimatise to the altitude change! I think that may be difficult for me, as I have a sensitive respiratory system, and this affects my ears. All remains to be seen, and I can't wait anyway - I can deal with some temporary discomfort. :o)

Love y'all,
P*ff
