Comic book fans are fucking idiots.
If you translated their complaints about comics into other mediusm, the only mystery films that would be tolerated are those where the killer is revealed from the get-go and all the clues are explained, step-by-step, to the audience. The only acceptable action films would be one where it opens on a fight, the fight lasts 90 minutes, and the film closes on the fight.
In other words, all their complaints boil down to: "I'm an idiot who can't understand anything without having it dumbed down to sub-pre-school level."
