Reisisting the temptation to be a smart-ass to someone who kind of deserves it. It's just not worth the headache of dealing with their bruised ego afterwards.
Also, placing imaginary bets on just how racist the campaign is going to get. The fringe elements of the wing-nut-o-sphere are already going ballistic, but I'm fairly certain, by the time November rolls around, we'll get a mainstream GOP politician making a "fried chicken and watermelon" comment.
