I've been good at keeping myself busy today. Ever mindful of the nasty moths, I began washing the Zwartbles sheep fleece today. Holy crap, that thing is big! I laid it out to skirt it (take out the nasty sheep-poo bits) and thankfully it was pretty well skirted already, I only had to get rid of a little bit. I made a complete farce of unrolling it, but when all undone it took up ALL of a single-bed-sized sheet. Eeek.
Anyways, I washed it in the bathtub, and that bit was much easier than I imagined. I have completely failed to screw up and felt it. (yaaaay)
I then took myself on a nice long walk at Blenheim Palace. I thought about breaking into the butterfly house for free, but felt conspicuous without a partner in crime. I went for a very long walk last Friday, and that was the only day of this break so far that I've slept alright. Hopefully tonight will be fantastic in snooze-land.
Thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday, especially important as I had a bit of a birthday related meltdown around midnight the night before it. Hum. Lovely husband has easgle eyes and bought us tickets to go see Josh Ritter. Smart boy, we loves him!
