3:5- No need tracking too far back. Our realtionship always sucked, she was always mean to me, but we were in a state of detente - or so I thought. She had been especially abrasive to me lately. She was going out and drinking alot and gaining weight. There was NO SEX between us.
4/11/14- Friday I get a call from the father of the Iraqi refugee we took guardianship of 3 years ago. (He made it into the US about 1 year ago).
He does not speak much english, he just said, "I have memory for you" I was like "What" he said,"I have memory for you. Card. Card." I still don't know and just say, "OK." He continues "we meet later" I say OK.
Flashback to 4/7/14. I find papers on our stoop to turn Selman back over to Aqeel. I ask Lee WTF, and she says Aqeel is blackmailing me he said he has pics of Lina (our 5 year old) drinking beer, and he's demanding his son back. I'm like that's silly, how can that be blackmail? He's taking the picture so he's letting her drink.
4/11/14 - after work I come home and tell Lee what Aqeel said. She pulls me in our office and says, "I need to tell you something. I've been seeing Aqeel". I said, "What?" . She said, "I've been with Aqeel". [1:10] Me: "So you mean you have had sex with him?"
She replies, "yeah, that's what I'm saying" with a "Duh" attitude in her speech [1:50]
She then goes on to tell me he's been blackmailing her and violently attacking her. I said for a picture of Lina? Or did you have sex with him first?"
"We had sex, but then he was blackmailing me that he was going to tell you, so I did what I could to not hurt you" So you had sex with him for me?
"He was blackmailing me"
