So today I mowed for the first time ever!  I did a fairly crappy job, but not bad if you knew I have never done that before.  And it felt good to use the push mower while the neighbor was choking on gas fumes from his loud stinky mower ( Read more... )

I finally found my camera (hooray for living out of boxes) so I took pics of some of our plants. I don't know what all of them are. Can you help?

Obviously, we have irises. I am STOKED about the yellow ones.  There is also what I believe to be some kind of rose bush, but I didn't get pics.  We will see if I am right once it blooms.
