So incredibly sweet
So my aunt gave me a big bag full of photos and documents to scan and upload to our family tree. Y'all got to see a handful of pics earlier today from my childhood (in a locked post) but there was a lot of much older stuff in there too.
The very sweetest thing was a love letter from my great-grandfather to my great-grandmother in 1917.
This is them and some other family members in 1945. They are Walter and Gladys:

I put a scan of the letter as well as a translation online to send out to family, so I will just link to it rather than post the whole thing here. But really, this is so so sweet. And surprising since this side of the family isn't exactly known for its sentimentality.
