It's been sort of a long time since I last updated. I was at my grandparents in New Hampshire Friday-Thursday and that was definitely really boring. There was nothing to do, so I just read like 5 books (but was STILL bored).
Friday I went to an Arlo Guthrie concert. For those of you who don't know, Arlo Guthrie is Woody Guthrie's son, and was a folksinger in the 60s (he played at Woodstock) and has atleast one movie (Alice's Restaurant) which stars him. Also, and this is probably the coolest thing about him, Bob Dylan taught him how to play harmonica. So, I went to see Arlo, and it was a really, really, really good show. The opening band was a band called The Mammals and one of the guitarists was the grandson of Pete Seeger (a very famous folksinger) so that was awesome (oh, yeah, the band was good too). Arlo told stories throughout his set and he was really hilarious. So that was a really good time and I got home at like 1:30 AM.
Yesterday I was supposed to have a guitar lesson, but my teacher was overbooked, which was fine with me, as I haven't practiced for atleast 2 weeks. My dad ended up buying me an acoustic guitar (I have an electric right now) that's quite good. My dad is pretty much obsessed with guitar, so it was easy to get him to buy me one. The rest of the day I just read East of Eden which is really good but really long (well, only 600 pages, but it takes a while).
Today I'm going running with Sam and hopefully Alden. I haven't gone running for like a week, this is going to be painful.
