Green kick

Mmyep. Once again, I have returned to it. Every six or seven months I go on a green kick and buy only green stuff. No apparent reason other than my Slytherin roots. But I think I may've gone a bit overboard this time...

People can see me from twelve miles on a clear day. In other news, I got glasses. It's rather odd, but I find that my entire self-esteem rests on these tiny lenses. I don't wanna be a librarian again. I wanna be able to see when I shower. And swim. And...er...I dunno, other stuff. Realised that I've been at Pizza Joint for a year now. Definitely time to either seek more profitable employment or ask to finally wait tables. Been at Target long enough to get health insurance. Huzzah for that. Miles and I are moving into our new apartment in either February or March, so huzzah for that as well. Celebrated our six month anniversary last month. Was very nice. He's beyond great. And I'm such a grouch lately. Maybe it's the green bringing out my inner grinch. His cat is staying with me now. And Bear. And soon to be Pescada. So many animals. Only a matter of time before I convince him to get me a puppy. =D It's little things that get me about him. Like the other morning when I got home from dropping him off work and found that he had already set my alarm clock for me. Or that he took two hours cleaning our room to cheer me up when I was having a bad day. Pleasepleaseplease don't let me screw this up.

In other news, I nearly killed myself New Year's Day night. Driving to his house to drop off the truck and a possum was out in the middle of Wheeler Road. So I hit the brakes and thought I'd swerve a little to the right to avoid it. Promptly fishtailed, flailed all over the road, jumped the median. Very very frightening. Wound up having to get three of the tires replaced. Which was okay, because apparently one of them had a nail in it anyway. And one had a chunk gouged out of it from back when Miles found such pleasure in careening about the neighborhood. But I also had to get two bent rims replaced. Which was -not- okay. Lot of money, but Miles is footing most of the bill. Because he's a nice guy. And because he owed me money anyway. But mostly because he's a dear. And I want to have his babies. Lots of them.
